Cerakote is a Polymer-Ceramic Composite coating that can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers and wood. The unique formulation used for Cerakote ceramic coating enhances many physical performance properties including abrasion/wear resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, impact strength, UV stability, and hardness.  Each of these properties is rigorously tested to guarantee that Cerakote coatings remain at the forefront of the ceramic coatings market. Cerakote ceramic coatings utilize state-of-the-art technology to out-perform any competitive coating in both laboratory settings and real-world applications.

Cerakote offers a much more flexible solution than traditional anodizing or other thin coating technologies.  Firstly, the colors available is vast and increasing by the day.  Multiple layer applications in different colors means an infinite number of pattern designs are possible that cannot be achieved with other traditional thin coating technology.

Each Cerakote color and series has their own unique properties.  H Series is sufficient for most applications, while C and Elite Series deliver extremely high performance across all attributes (although lesser available colors than H series)

Cerakote’s newest clear coat also offers extremely high protection on polished aluminum and stainless-steel surfaces, with extremely high abrasion and UV protection.

  Traditional paint and coatings may change color or fade when exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time.  Cerakote’s C series offers industry leading performance on UV stability, especially our whites which are very popular.

• Low Coefficient of Friction
  Cerakote’s Elite Series coating offers extremely smooth and non-stick finishes that exceed even that of Teflon, making it perfect for high abrasion industrial applications.

• Applies Easily to Plastics and Metals
  Cerakote is designed to be sprayed easily onto any metal or plastic surface.  Keep in mind that Cerakote is very thin so it is important that the underlying surface is smooth and free of scratches of flaws.

• Over 100 colors to choose from
  H series offers over 100 colors, while C series offers more than 60 colors.  Our strongest Elite series offers more than 10 colors.  And new colors are constantly being released.  Cerakote can also be mixed to achieve a custom color of your choice.  On request, we can do computer color matching (pantone matching) in our US laboratory.  Matching fees apply.

• Incredible clear coat protection

• Can be applied with patterns and logos
  Unlike anodizing and other plating technologies, Cerakote unleashed creative freedoms and gives you the ability to apply patterns, logos, and even camouflage to the surface of your product.

• Easy to apply
  Cerakote sprays on easily using a spray gun without the need for a primer.  Simply degrease the part, sandblast it with Aluminum Oxide blast medium to create a rough finish for Cerakote to latch onto, and spray.  H & Elite series is then cured in an oven for 1 hour, while C series is air-cured and can be left to dry naturally.  It’s so easy that Cerakote can be applied at home for hobby projects.

For specific performance specifications of each color & series, you can download technical data sheets from https://www.cerakote.com/resources/documents.  Each series and color of coating has their own performance attributes, so make sure to check the technical data sheet (TDS) for the color that interests you.  Check specifically for recommended thickness, UV stability, scratch resistance, temperature stability, and any other parameter that you require.
